School District Membership - Inland County Chapter AOSA

The Inland Counties Chapter, AOSA is proud to announce that we are once again offering a low cost district membership package to school districts wishing to provide their staffs with outstanding professional development opportunities in the performing arts. School districts may join the ICCAOSA which will allow every employee to attend every regularly scheduled workshop with no additional expenses. Consider using Chapter I, SIP funds, and mentor teacher money to assist you in providing this extraordinary program for your educators. Additional details include:

  • $500 membership fee per school district
  • Receive fliers through your district office
  • Attend the four Orff-Schulwerk based workshops presented by nationally recognized clinicians
  • Acquire up to16 Professional Growth hours for workshop attendance (with documentation)

Individual Local Membership - Inland County Chapter AOSA

Now entering its sixteenth year, the Inland Counties Chapter, American Orff-Schulwerk Association is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to providing quality experiences in music education for our region (Riverside, Inyo, and Mono, and San Bernardino Counties). Our membership reflects a broad segment of the educational community and consists primarily of classroom teachers, music specialists, and others interested in applications of Orff Schulwerk. Membership is VERY inexpensive (contact us for details) and includes 4 workshops and our newsletters. Most workshops are held at the University of Redlands and professional development credit is offered.

  • $40 per member
  • Receive the quarterly newsletter in your home mail
  • Receive upcoming workshop announcements in your home mail
  • Attend four Orff-Schulwerk based workshops presented by nationally recognized clinicians
  • Acquire up to16 Professional Growth hours for workshop attendance (with documentation)
  • Attend Chapter Sharing Day and learn from your colleagues
  • Receive loan privileges for Orbiting Orff instrument packages, videos and books
  • Eligible to apply for local scholarships to Orff-Schulwerk Levels training

 

National Membership - American Orff-Schulwerk Association

  • $60 per member
  • Eligible to attend national conferences with clinics, master instructors and performances by some of the world's best student and professional practitioners of Orff-Schulwerk
  • Receive quarterly publications, Reverberations, and The Off Echo, containing articles, reviews and lesson plans in the mail
  • Access AOSA's expanded web-site for members, containing lesson plans, on-line forms and conference news
  • Receive an annual list of Levels Training Courses in the United States
  • Eligible to apply for scholarships, research grants, and funding for special projects
  • Receive a personal copy of the National Membership Directory in the mail
  • Access a professional video library of conference and clinician presentations
  • Access the Isabel McNeill Carley Library Collection for research study

* District Members

  • $500 per school district
  • District office will receive announcements of upcoming workshops
  • All staff members may attend four Orff-Schulwerk based workshops presented by nationally recognized clinicians
  • Participants acquire up to16 Professional Growth hours for workshop attendance
